Antique 19th Century Jacobean Revival Side Table
A very convincing revival of the Jacobean style.
We are delighted to offer this lovely rare 19th Century C1920 Jacobean revival solid Oak side table ideal for any period themed room. The table has a solid Oak 3 plank moulded edge top above its elegantly simple base which incorporates a shaped frieze all around with a beautifully floral carved dovetail drawer to the centre complete with turned knobs. The base has simple turned legs which are traditionally jointed with pegged mortice and tenons incorporating stretcher rails with moulded faces and convincing simulated wear.
The table features its original waxed finish with its beautiful original lightly faded Tudor Oak colour with patina.
We have just carefully cleaned and waxed this item to preserve and protect the item whilst giving it a lustrous natural sheen.
Please note this item is in superb condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, however, we feel that adds to the charm and heritage of the item with it being antique.
