Grand Early Victorian Mahogany Wind-out Dining Table.

We bring to you the most marvellous example of an early Victorian solid Mahogany wind out table of substantial size believed to be made between 1850 - 1860.
The table has 4 beautifully turned and carved substantial mahogany legs which stands on its original impressively large polished brass castors on white porcelain wheels. This lovely table is in almost flawless condition with a lovely highly glazed French polished finish and rich Mahogany colour.

This table is complete with its 2 original additional leaves giving this table a small overall form when the leaves are not in use or a very large table when both are in and the medium between. This table can manage to accommodate 4-10 chairs and be used as a formal dining room or even a breakfast table.

This table has been recently fully restored and French polished. The winding mechanism has been greased and is working smoothly without any sagging whilst maintaining a flat top when extended (its original winding handle is included). The table is solid with no joint movement or twisting.

This item is in outstanding condition as shown by the photographs however being an antique item of this age there are blemishes and scuffs here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage.

Included is a heat resistant table top cover as show in the photographs, however it is in used condition so is not absolutely perfect.

The chairs photographed are not included in the sale.
