Antique Edwardian Carved Walnut Mirror Backed Hall Sideboard Chiffonier Cupboard

We bring to you this excellent condition Edwardian (circa 1890-1900) solid Walnut hall sideboard/chiffonier/cupboard featuring an elegant carved and turned bevelled mirror backed display unit.

Either side of the original bevelled mirror glass are 4 finials accompanied with floral carved brackets going down to 6 turned accents and 2 shelves held up via 4 turned supports. The sideboard features 2 top drawers and 2 floral carved fielded paneled cupboard doors with 1 internal shelf allowing lots of storage space. This Sideboard has a lovely lightly faded walnut colour with the original French polished finish and original ornate polished solid brass handles to the drawers and the cupboard doors. This very usable narrow sideboard is ideal for hallways, dining rooms or to be used as a phone table, hall table, or even to store shoes in the cupboard space.

The mirrored back is removable for transportation/storage via screws to the back and the turned supports are held in via location dowels to the top.

We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining original patina by carefully waxing it to preserve the finish and give it a lovely natural sheen.

Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece. Also note, the mirror glass is original so does have pitting (pictured) as expected with any antique mirror.
