Antique Edwardian Inkwell Desk Tidy.

We are happy to offer this excellent condition antique Edwardian (circa 1900's) Inkwell tidy box ideal for any period property.

This simple but elegant Inkstand features a lovely rich walnut colour with the original polish and patina. This double inkwell comes complete with its original square glass inkwells with bakelite tops. This desk tidy features ebonised edges, pencil grooves and a lovely ornate polished brass handle and a lower finely dovetailed stationary drawer.

We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining original patina and character by just carefully waxing this item to enhance and preserve the finish whilst giving it a natural sheen and highly polishing the brassware.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, as expected with an item of this age. However, we feel that these points are which adds to the charm of the item with it being an antique.
