We are delighted to offer this excellent condition antique Georgian George III (1760-1820) Mahogany hanging corner cabinet ideal for any period property. This cabinet has obviously really been looked after as it's in a lovely original condition with its lovely original colour and wax polished finish. The cupboard features 2 curved top panel doors with inlay which are attached with the original beautiful solid brass H hinges. The cabinet comes complete with a working lock with 1 key and has a lovely white bone keyhole escutcheon with a matching false to the left. Featuring 4 shaped shelves with plate grooves to the inside and 3 small drawers with their original tiny brass knobs, this cupboard is ideal for the storage of glasses and/or drinks and associated items and also plates, cups etc.
This cabinet is a wall hanging cabinet however a previous owner has added a small foot (removable via 4 screws) to the bottom meaning it can be placed on the floor also.
We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining patina by just carefully waxing this item to enhance and preserve it for many years to come.
