This is an excellent condition set of 6 Mahogany Hepplewhite style dining chairs in very good condition believed to be made around the 1900's. These chairs feature a lovely original polish and a lightly faded mahogany colour which we have just enhanced by carefully waxing these chairs to a lovely deep natural sheen. Although these are original antique chairs, they are Edwardian era reproductions of the great Hepplewhite design and are quality examples.

This set of chairs are made from solid Mahogany with a very solid design and construction. Being the Hepplewhite inspired chairs they do come with extra H stretcher rails and cross-bearers at the legs of the chairs meaning they are solid with no joint movement or creaks.

The upholstered drop-in seat pads are original and have never been reupholstered. They are currently covered in original Rexine faux leather material which is in great condition but does have cracks and imperfections. We have left this material as we thought it still looks the part and gives a great faux leather effect. The chairs are comfortable and ready for a new home.

Please note; As these are antique chairs they do come with signs of age and use and they do have some very minor repairs and wear as expected with any antique item.

We feel that these small blemishes add to the charm and character of the item.

Also note, we can re-upholster these chairs in a material of your choice if these are not to your taste (for obvious added costs) if you require.
