Antique Sheraton Revival Mahogany Music sheet Cabinet

An exceptional music sheet cabinet, ideal accomplice to a piano.
We bring to you one of the finest and best kept examples of a 1920's music sheet cabinet, in its stunning almost flawless condition. This stunning music sheet cabinet has been made to the highest quality in the highly sought after Sheraton style and made from solid Mahogany throughout. Intended for sheet music but could also be used for filing, the drawer fronts fold down on a brass hinged mechanism to allow easy access to the contents.
The cabinet is complemented by its raised rear up-stand (removable) and carved bobbin beading around the top frieze. This elegant cabinet also features moulded edges and scratch moulded drawer fronts complemented by its original 2 polished brass knobs per drawer and the cabinet stands on Queen Anne style legs. All of the joints are solid, the hand cut dovetailed drawers are smoothly operating and are very clean inside. The chest is complete with its original highly glazed French polished finish and has a beautiful rich Mahogany colour.
This small chest of drawers is an ideal accomplice to your piano and would look lovely seated next to it with a period lamp on top and would enhance any period property.

The rear up-stand is removable and can be removed by 3 screws, please be aware it may be removed for delivery.
Please note this item is in excellent condition for its age but may have the odd blemish here and there. However, we feel that adds to the charm of the item with it being an antique.
