Original Antique Victorian Carved Mahogany Tapestry Wall Plaque .

A Charming Antique Wall Decoration.

We bring to you this rare excellent condition fine quality Victorian needlepoint tapestry wall plaque in its original carved Mahogany frame from around C1880. This ornate wall plaque depicts a floral scene of lilies and roses which is in fantastic unfaded condition and protected by its original hand floated glass. The lovely tapestry is hung on the rear via a brass chain.

This lovely original decoration is ideal for any period property. We have sympathetically restored this item by carefully cleaning and waxing the wooden frame to bring out the natural shine.

Please note; This item is in very good condition for its age but will obviously have the odd bump and imperfection here and there due to the age of the item. However, we feel that this adds to the charm and authenticity of the item with it being antique.
