A classical Victorian 3 seater settee.

We are delighted to offer for sale this fantastic condition Victorian (circa 1880) double-ended swan neck design classical buttoned back 3 seater lounging settee. This spectacular and elegant settee is surprisingly comfortable due to its chaise longue type design with sweeping swan neck shaped buttoned arms and a carved back support which all stands on 4 large turned legs on original castors. The settee comes complete with 2 loose bolster cushions.

This lovely sofa features fantastic well maintained polish with lots of patina which we have just cleaned to preserve and protect the finish and give a natural sheen. This sofa is ideally suited to a period lounge, living area, bedroom or even hallway in any period themed property.

This settee has been re-upholstered to a very professional high standard (approximately 20 years ago) in a pink velvet Dralon material which is in a fantastic clean condition from a smoke and pet free home, ideal for any period property. We have just vacuum cleaned the upholstery and carefully waxed the frame. The material could be left as it because of its fantastic used condition or it could be fully upholstered to your taste. We would be able to quote for re-upholstering this settee for you if you enquire.

The chair also shown in the pictures is not included in this sale, however, does match perfectly and was bought from the same property. We would be willing to offer a discount for both being purchased by the same person on enquiry.

Please note; this item is in very good condition for its age but does have signs of wear and tear however we feel that's part of its charm and character with it being antique.
