A Lovely Early Victorian Mahogany Wind-out Dining Table.

A fantastic solid mahogany 4-6 seater table.

We bring to you one of the finest restored examples of an early Victorian solid Mahogany wind out table believed to be made between 1850 - 1860. We have fully restored this table in our workshop including a part re-polished whilst leaving characterful marks and bumps.

The winding mechanism has been greased and is working smoothly without any sagging whilst maintaining a flat top when extended (The winding handle is included). The table is solid and has been re-glued whilst it was in our workshop. The table stands on its 4 beautifully turned and fluted mahogany legs and impressive large polished brass cup castors on porcelain wheels. This lovely table is in fantastic condition with a lovely highly polished finish and a lightly faded mahogany.

This table has 1 additional leaf giving this table a small overall form when the leaf is not in use or quite a large table when the leaf is in. This table can manage to accommodate 4-6 chairs and be used as a formal dining room or even a breakfast table. This item is in great condition for its age as shown by the photographs however being an antique item of this age there are blemishes and scuffs here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage.
