Rare Vintage Indian Reed Organ by Calcutta.

Vintage portable Harmonium, ideal gift for the musical enthusiast.

As an antique furniture restorers, we have professionally and meticulously restored the woodwork and finish of the casing, ensuring it is in superb aesthetic condition with a rich, antique patina—making it a stunning piece of furniture as well as a musical instrument. The instrument's primary function is sound: it is in functional playing order, holding notes correctly across the keyboard, powered by the hand bellows visible on the back.
Functional Note on Stops (Important): This instrument features nine pull-out stops for controlling reeds and drones. While they are physically present and confirmed to be connected internally, may not currently produce an audible effect or successfully sustain a drone note. The rest of the pull out stops do function correctly.
This is common with Vintage reed organs, and the instrument is priced to reflect this possibility. The main playing keyboard and air mechanism function well.
Technical Specifications: This model features a 3¼ Octave, 39-key keyboard (C to E) and is equipped with the nine horizontal stops. It folds neatly into its own case for transport This is a unique opportunity to acquire a well-preserved and operational Vintage musical instrument.
The instrument is also complete with its original bag for protection.
Please note; This item is in very good condition for its age but will obviously have dents and imperfections here and there due to the age of the item. However, we feel that this adds to the charm and authenticity of the item with it being antique.
