Vintage Set of 4 Quaker Chairs
Iconic Ercol Dining
We bring to you this very well regarded design icon that is the Ercol Quaker Windsor chairs. The chairs seats are made from solid Elm with the rest being made from Beechwood which is steam bent on the hooped tall Quaker backs. Ercol are some of the best furniture craftsmen in the business, still producing these same chairs in the UK to this day. This set was made in 1960 as stamped on the chairs underside and as seen in the Ercol brochure from 1965 available to view on their website. The set is in absolutely fantastic original condition with no loose joints or breaks. This set of chairs would have originally been in the dark finish however this set has benefited from being professionally stripped and re-polished in the much lighter blonde colour. The chairs are in very good condition throughout with no joint movement and have been thoroughly checked over in our workshop. There are some minor blemishes here and there as expected with vintage items.
The chairs are fully cleaned, waxed and are in home ready condition.
Please note; This item is in good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, as expected with any vintage furniture.
Please also note: The table pictured is not included in the sale of the chairs, however, is available separately at our shop at the time of listing.
