Vintage Millitary Canvas & Wood Ribbed Travel Trunk.

A stylish Steamer Trunk ideal for vintage themes.

We bring to you an excellent original condition early vintage to antique C1910 - 1920's military steamer travel trunk. This Lovely trunk is made from canvas with metal edgings and braced with bent wood ribbing. This trunk is completely original and shows signs of usage and obviously been all over the country as shown by the stickers it has accumulated which we feel adds lots of charm and character. We have just cleaned and waxed this trunk to give it a lustrous natural sheen and preserve the coated canvas and protect the item for many more years to come. This trunk features the original brown canvas covering, some very old travel labels which we have left as part of its history, original internal paper lining and the original brown leather straps and handles. This lovely original condition suitcase is also complete with lock latches however, they do not operate and 1 is broken.

This chest is ideal to be used as a coffee table, vintage/retro chest for storage or just be used as a room decor/blanket chest.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but does have obvious damage here and there, however, we feel that adds to the charm of the item with it being so old.
