Vintage VONO Oak Double (4ft6 x 6ft6) Bed Frame.

A Restored Oak Bed Frame.

We are delighted to offer this excellent condition Vintage (circa 1930's) Oak Bed Frame in a lovely stripped natural colour, ideal for any period property. This Bedstead is very solid with no joint movement and the cast frame ensures rigidity whilst coming apart with 4 captured bolts (can't lose them) for easy movement into any home. There is, unfortunately, no spring base or mattress, it is just the bed frame. This bed frame would require a mattress frame or a wooden base to sit on top of the frame for the mattress to be placed on top of. There are VONO bed bases available from other sellers if needed. The frame does have evidence of previous woodworm, however, it is no longer active, not structural and we have treated it.

We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining original patina by stripping the original dark polish off and re-polishing in a clear lacquer and painting the cast metal black.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, however, we feel that adds to the charm of the item with it being an antique.
