Vintage Solid Elm Magazine/Newspaper rack.

A usefull solid Elm wood storage box.

This is an excellent condition Vintage 1950's solid Elm large tapering magazine/newspaper storage rack with cutout fretwork handles and fretwork cutout feet either end. The front features a traditional moulded panel with 3 turned button details to the centre. The box is in very good condition with lovely original polish and lightly faded colour with patina.

This rack has come directly from the previous owner and has just been cleaned and carefully waxed by us to preserve and protect whilst giving a natural sheen. This stylish box would definitely suit a country cottage or even a Vintage or contemporary themed property and although designed to be a newspaper/magazine rack, could also be used to store fire logs or kindling for an open fire.

Please note; this item is in very good condition for its age but does have some bumps and wear and tear as you would expect with any Vintage item. However, we feel that's part of its charm and character with it being vintage so have left it original.
